Make a PetCam room behave nicely.

PetCam is designed for a simple two-device setup: one device stays with your pet, one device joins as the human.

Keep the pet device plugged in

Long video sessions use battery quickly, especially on older phones and tablets.

Mobile browsers may pause camera or microphone when the screen locks or the tab goes into the background.

A stable connection matters more than speed. Place the device near the router when possible.

For older phones, remove thick cases and avoid direct sunlight during longer calls.

Modern Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox are the intended target. Camera and microphone permission must be granted by the user.

PetCam is for casual check-ins. Do not rely on it for medical, safety, or emergency monitoring.
